Our history

In 1996, text&form was founded by four seasoned and experienced translators: Kim Harris, Holger Hoffmann, Thomas Ossowski and Thomas Senf. From Day One they defined a basic principle that continues to drive the organization forward today: delivering customer service excellence and providing world-class translation and localization solutions would provide long-term value for both our clients and our company. Over the years, text&form has grown organically, under its own steam, directly because of this belief.

In March 2005, we launched text & form Inc. in Toronto, Canada, as an adjunct to the Berlin mother ship. This new company is focused on the North American market and is carving out a niche for itself, particularly in the Canadian export market for environmental technology, biotechnology, and software.

In February 2009, we achieved conformity with DIN EN 15038:2006-08 (registry number: 7U278) because we understand that compliance with recognized standards for processes and workflows is just as important as flexibility and experience.
