The Future Is Here Now:
Translation and Technology
Humans Provide Context & Meaning,
Technology Contributes Consistency & Speed
When you work on a translation project with text&form, you’ve expanded your team with experts: professional translators with a proven track record of accurate translation, supported by the latest computer-assisted translation technologies and several in-house solutions that improve consistency across languages and projects and shorten project time considerably.
Using computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools
At text&form, we’re CAT tool-agnostic, meaning we use all of the most widely used tools in the market, including SDL Trados Studio, Across, Memsource, memoQ and SDL Passolo.
But our technologies go beyond that and include the following solutions for optimizing translation workflows:
- Translation memory (TM) server technology to help us translate large volumes of texts within a short time
- A browser-based CAT integration solution that connects with our project management tool for the translation of small bits into many languages
- End-to-end workflow integration with authoring tools such as SCHEMA ST4, Drupal, and others
The future has always been now
at text&form, …
… because we know how to integrate technology
into our translation processes
to exceed our clients’ needs.
Other translation tools
that speed up your translation projects
Constantly striving to improve workflows and streamline processes, we have repeatedly come up against the narrow limits of existing software solutions in our more than 20 years of company history. So we created our own solutions that increase the efficiency of translation projects, thereby saving you both time and money.
When translating entries in customizing tables, it can be difficult to quickly identify which tables you need to translate. On top of that, you have to figure out which entries in those tables were created by you, and which ones were delivered by SAP. tf-customize is an SAP add-on that solves this problem and enables a transparent and sustainable translation workflow.
